Here’s the first part of some new alt cosplay pics, featuring Kat in a set inspired by the late, great Aeon Flux animated series. In case you’ve not noticed, i’m rather a fan of the characters and world Peter Chung created.
While it’s been almost two decades since he, or anyone else, has done any new Flux material (i actually liked the live-action movie, but it really doesn’t count), i keep holding out hope for more. The concept of an ultra-libertarian/anarchist hero battling against an oppressively surveilled, dystopic, police state still holds some relevance and appeal.
A couple of these turned up in the original Post-Human Pin-Up ebook, here are all the rest. Making it a two-part set, as there’s a lot of them. Will have part 2 up tomorrow.
See the rest of the pics by clicking through. Up to you; there’s some nudity, so if you’re underage, or that offends your sensibilities, please leave now. Go here instead for nudity-free soul augmentation.
Haven’t seen The Wolverine, yet, which is odd. Don’t know if it’s superhero movie fatigue so much as it’s a case of the bar for movies about an outsider Anglo guy facing off against an overwhelming opponent in a predominantly Asian country having been set dauntingly high just 2 weeks ago. Feel obliged to see everything Hugh Jackman is in, as The Fountain is one of the best movies ever made, so will make time to see it this weekend.
Had the post-credits stinger spoiled, already; it seems to set up X-Men: Days of Future Past quite nicely, even if i’m still wishing Matthew Vaughn would’ve returned to do a direct sequel to First Class.
Thanks Kat! Part 2 of this, a new ebook, and other new stuff all coming over the next few days.
