Here’s a gorgeous piece of Robin fan art, Up and away, based on the Supergirl-inspired cosplay pics. This was done by Paul Morrison, who’s made some amazing art out of stuff on this site, but i think this is my favorite…especially since he did it within a day of the set going up on the site.

Not to chime in too abruptly, but in light of Veidt’s new Rockethub project, I wonder: Might Veidt Studios have any thoughts about possible creative collaboration there? With Veidt’s sophisticated content and style, and Paul Morrison’s may one say neo-romanticist touch, could there be more amazing mashups in the works, perhaps? I would think that it may catch the attentions of (so to speak) industry designers, themselves, plainly – and in a free market, where imagination may be the token of fare, I love that style altogether. The background work really takes the photo and model work somewhere else, IMO. I think it’s altogether awesome. Cheers!
