Wrong = the best of 2013 (so far)

Ambush Bug

Having paid the $10 to rent Wrong off iTunes, just wanted to 1.) convey how intensely i loved it, 2.) hail William Fichtner on his ascendance to the new Christoper Walken status, 3.) assure you that if you like your humor strange, borderline absurd, it’s absolutely worth your time, and 4.) go on record as having a new ultimate dream movie, on par with a David Lynch Batman and Wes Anderson’s The Umbrella Academy…Quentin Dupieux’s Ambush Bug.

Give Dupiex a $5 million budget, and maybe let him film concurrently with the Justice League film, with access to some of the same sets/props/effects, for a Rosencrantz and Guildenstern-esque take on the same story. Or do whatever he wants with the character…it’s guaranteed to both look better (Dupiex acts as his own cinematographer, and gets so many gorgeous shots), and generate a healthier r.o.i. than Green Lantern, while possibly establishing Bug as an analog to Marvel Studio’s Agent Coulson.

Best movie of 2013, so far…fully aware saying that in early February may not count for much, but it’s meant as high praise.

After how amazing Rubber was, why wouldn’t Wrong be ‘so-far-best’ of 2013? And why haven’t we had a fucking Umbrella Academy movie by now?

;_; dear Hollywood, suckamyballs ;_;

Wes Anderson is a great director and all — but Edgar Wright would direct the hell out of an Umbrella Academy moooovie. This is based on facts. FACTS that I ordered from amazon dammit.

Yes, he certainly could, and he’d be a fine second choice if Anderson just couldn’t be coerced/forced into directing it…

Unfortunately, it appears Edger Wright has his heart set on endlessly dicking around with Ant-Man.
