Quentin Dupieux’s Wrong will be available via VOD services this Friday, February 1st, and you can use the trailer embeded above to gage your interest. For what it’s worth, my interest gage broke after watching: i’m fucking dying to see this.
Perhaps even more promising, Dupieux has another movie coming this summer, called Wrong Cops. The first 45 minutes of the work-in-progress just screened to mixed reaction at Sundance, but Christ it looks brilliant!! I’m having difficulty imagining a more effective selling point for a film than Eric Wareheim and Ray Wise as evil cops.

I dug Rubber- it came right up to the edge of being too godamn cute for its own good, but managed to stick the landing. This trailer looks a lot more interesting, so I’ll be glad to give this a spin when it hits DVD.
The cop thing looks fun, even if I’m not remotely a fan of that Wareheim fellow.
