When did you first experience hardcore nostalgia? Think i got hit early, moving around alot as a kid, living different lives, and always pining away for some of them. It might be why i felt such strong affinity for Jay Gatsby, upon being assigned Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby for summer reading in 8th grade. It’s always remained a favorite, despite the lack of fetishistic costumes and masks (literal masks, anyway), and i’ve been eagerly anticipating Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation.
New trailer embedded above looks utterly dope, and includes Gatsby’s most perfect line of dialogue. It’s also the first movie since Piranha i’m actually excited about seeing in 3D. The Great Gatsby will be released May 10, 2013

I saw the movie in High School (didnt’t it come out about the same time as the STING) and loved it. The cars, the women, the mansion. this one looks great as well. Thanks for posting it
I wonder if the release of the movie was delayed because Leo and Tobey gambled away the budget in poker games in-between takes.
