Grandma’s Boy; not just one of the two or three best comedies of the last 1o years, but apparently now also an aspirational lifestyle brand. MWE Lab is selling a 3-screen, ergonomic workstation rig, featuring an air filtering system, built-in light therapy, and Giger-esque biomechanical design flourishes, that appears to have been (at least partly) inspired by JP’s intimidating office setup, seen above.
It’s called the Emperor 200; zero hyperbole, a name totally befitting such a throne, $49,150, and worth every penny (seriously. i would live in this. would mount it onto a fucking hoverround, if i needed to go anywhere…), even if that doesn’t include speakers to blare Aphex Twin’s Window Licker.

One Response to “You’d like it if you had robot ears. And $49,150.”
I could fabricate that set up much cheaper…In fact, my dual monitor setup that I design on is very similar to that. At the end of the day, what’s 1 more monitor….
