Update on Post-Human Pin-Up, and here comes a new challenger…

Post-Human Pin-Up

Quick update on Post-Human Pin-Up: yes, it’s really late. It will go out this month. I’m working on it, want it to be as good as i can get it to be, as it’s the last book project i’ll take on for awhile. Will focus instead on producing more sets and more videos for this site through the rest of 2012, and for the foreseeable 2013.

I do like alot of what we’ve shot for it, for whatever that’s worth.

Kat Veidt Ayn Rand Anthem

I have a new project up on Rockethub, Women Reading Anthem. Different from previous stuff we’ve done, as it’s not cosplay or comic book-related, and it addresses problems we’ve had with the two book projects. 1.) It’s not open ended: we’ll shoot as much as we can over 2 days, with people you’ve seen on Veidt, and some all new models, and 2.) there’s no big end product to wait for. Project is pretty much what the title suggests; stills and video of women reading Ayn Rand’s Anthem, in the hopes of persuading more of the masses to give it a shot. It’s an astoundingly dope book, and deserves to be celebrated.

Running this now because we have a limited window to work with someone who could very much help with video editing/optimization. Check the Rockethub page, see if it’s something you’re interested in supporting, and if you do, there are levels where you can get both of the Veidt ebooks and bonus content. I know there are some who wanted the books, but don’t want to deal w/ Rockethub. We’ll have something in place for you. Soon. Promise. Thank you.

Hey- sorry to post 3 times.
on the Rockethud page the website link to is not working correctly- I have tried in on a few browsers and one 2 computers always gives( server not found error) but it I add a space or remove a space it works fine.

Anyway reset it to make sure there nothing extra in the line.

Also note that copy pasting the link works fine. so maybe its a site coding error.

Encourage more people to read Ayn Rand?
I believe this is my stop, I will now disembark the crazy train.
You go on without me, and have a great trip.

Kiss kiss,

Yeah, i’ve been getting some email to this effect. I know Rand isn’t for everyone…

All i can say is it’s a rousing story set in an oppressive, dystopian future, it touches on some of the same themes as Alan Moore’s brilliant V for Vendetta, it’s my favorite book, and it’s like 100 pages. You could read the whole thing over the course of a long elevator ride.

Just wondering, when and by what means would the the donors receive access to the donor-only section of this site?
