As something of an energy drink connoisseur, i tend to consider Mountain Dew undrinkable swill. Have always had respect for their marketing department, though, and releasing a Batman flavor to tie-in with the imminent release of The Dark Knight Rises is definitely a coup.
Tastes a little like the late, great, grape-flavored NOS. Sort-of. Close enough, anyway, that i won’t feel utterly exploited for buying more just because there’s a picture of Batman on the bottle…that’s a feat at least on par with turning water into wine, so <spoiler?> if he really does die at the end of them movie, the Pope now has more than sufficient grounds for canonization.
Do it. I would never miss a Sunday at St. Batman’s Cathedral. </spoiler?>

Yeah, I’ve never been a Mountain Dew fan either. Always called it goat piss because of the color. Plus that fun little rumor back in the 90′s when it was said that Mountain Dew lowered sperm count. Which isn’t a bad thing anymore…
And Batman dying would be the perfect end to this trilogy. Go out Superman style, both of them hitting each other so hard that they die. Or just fall off a skyscraper. Some university physics students did the math, and found out that if Batman did indeed glide off a skyscraper, and without a proper landing mechanism, the landing would kill him. So there’s that.
Killing Batman at the end, to me, seems to be the cheap and easy way out. End of a saga, kill the hero. Thats just so damn cliche. Then again, hero saving the day is just as cliche. I just think so many expect for Wayne to die that, that is the reason Nolan won’t go that route.
As for the Mtn Dew, haven’t had it, but it looks damn good. Love purple flavored stuff.
Kinda hate Mountain(‘mtn?’) Dew, but the ‘DARKBERRY’ thing made me laugh so what the hell.
It tastes. Blue. Like what you’d think Windex would taste like if you didn’t smell it or know that it were poison. Like if you could taste color, this is what I imagine blue would taste like.
