If Darwyn Cooke wanted to do a prequel to The Catcher in The Rye, i would buy that shid, too

While it sucks the new Before Watchmen prequel series is going to further antagonize Alan Moore, i just wanted to go on record that i breathlessly anticipate devouring every single one of these books…

Well, except for the Nite Owl ones, anyway. Jesus, if i ever get that desperate to pass out from boredom, i already have Garden State on my phone.

The only guilt i feel from knowing i will be buying these books, and any new Watchmen action figures DC Direct releases, is that i wish they’d gone a little more with the movie costume designs. At this point, it’s kinda how i see these characters in me head. Especially with Adam Hughes drawing Silk Spectre…

Seems like Moore’s antagonized by pretty much everything these days. So much so we don’t even need to discuss it. Our not discussing it is, even now, antagonizing Alan Moore.
Like you I’m pleased at the heavy hitters they’re throwing at this project. No one understands design and getting the job done like Darwyn Cooke. Plus! Plus, I think Jae Lee is a very good artist but not always my cup of spandex, mostly because his style is so weird and ethereal for the projects he usually works on. Have to say, I think he’s a good choice for Ozymandias, who needs a good artist to highlight his super-genius strangeness and sleek, sexiness. All I ask is that it’s interesting.
