He showed up like this for maybe 10 seconds of screen-time, but I suspect there’ll be huge demand for Hot Toys just announced Police Officer Joker 12″ figure. This is the third version of the Dark Knight character Hot Toys has cranked out in the 1/6th scale, and if the quantum leap in headsculpt accuaracy between the first and the second (the utterly amazing Bank Robber Joker) is any indication of what to expect the 3rd time around, then this will likely be a scaled down, hard light hologram of the late, great Heath Ledger.
With all three Jokers, you could put the Bank Robber head (seriously, the best piece of toy sculpting I’ve ever seen) onto the purple suited body of their first Joker. You could then take the Police Officer’s makeup-free head and put it onto the Bank Robber body for secret-identity Joker, or something. Finally, you could attach any random head onto the Police Officer body to have a generic Gotham City cop to hunt the Dark Knight.
The sculpts on these are so good, it’s getting to the point where it’s tough to justify the purchase of non-Hot Toys figures…(via Cool Toy Review.)
