New superheroine cosplay pics: Marnie as Raven

First off, God bless America (if you’ve happened upon this at some point in the future, check the date it was posted.)

New superheroine cosplay pics, this set featuring Marnie as the dark/dour/mysterious, magic-using, half-demon, empath Raven, who was by far the best part of the Teen Titans animated series. I’m relatively sure these are the first pics of Marnie to go up here, and if i’m wrong, let’s just pretend they are. Either way there’s more stuff coming from her (and more Raven, as Kat also rocked this costume.)

As we were shooting, my current favorite song (The Space in Between by How to Destroy Angels) came on Pandora. That never happens (to me, anyway…), i’ve never heard anything by HtDA anywhere except on my zune. I took it as a positive omen, but we’ll see how her stuff plays here.

Fishnets make everything better…and if you disagree, wait until you see the Crime Syndicate Black Canary we came up with. I’ve yet to read any of the DC relaunch stuff, so no idea what the latest iteration of Raven looks like, or what she’s doing, but really hoping she turns up on Young Justice, when the new episodes start airing this month.

Not holding my breath for a Teen Titans movie (though i’d love to see one), and i’ve accepted and made peace with the likelihood that we’ll not see any other DC characters in the Christopher Nolan Batman films, but i’m still holding out hope we at least get to see Damian Wayne conceived in The Dark Knight Rises.
