Virginia in white bandages as a mummy, the Bride of Frankenstein, or maybe a sort-of Leeloo. Or something. Whatever, it’s pictures of Virginia, some of which i quite like. We did a not-really-cosplay bandages set with Jessica awhile ago, and that was quite well received, in case you’re concerned as to what the thinking was here.

Rest assured, more conventional cosplay will return: i’m saving some brand-new, never-before-seen costume stuff for posting when 1.) the site cracks the top 100,000 on quantcast (the first step towards internets legitimacy), and 2.) Cosplay Tetherball reaches its fundraising goal on Kickstarter (currently at 61%.) Because i live to celebrate shit that means nothing to anyone else. Fingers crossed on both happening soon.
More pics after the jump. Do take into consideration that there’s lots of nudity. If you’re under 18 or offended by such material, go here instead. Actually, go there anyway, even if you’re not.

It’s 7am, May 13th in LA as i’m putting this together, and i expect i’ll start drinking in about 5 hours to commemorate the passing of Smallville, one of the all time great teevee shows. Figured i need to get this stuff up now, as i’ll be in no condition to do it later…

This was the first shoot where i started screwing around Polaroids/instant cameras. Love it, can’t understand why it was allowed to slip into obsolescence, and wish someone would combine that immediate access to a hard copy with a digital camera.

Jesus, there’s alot of pics in this one. Anything more than 12 or so, and the upper limits of my capacity to pay attention are reached and breached.
Remember the Fight Club-ish poster for The Dark Knight? The one with an up-angle shot of Batman, and a building exploding/on fire behind him, and the tagline “Welcome to a World Without Rules.” That’s what the above pic makes me think of, and i love it. Really the only reason i’m running these.
Thanks Virginia for wearing gauze and making it look good. I need to go buy booze, energy drinks, and some Legos so i can make it ’til 8pm.

Awesome!!!
Shot 6 (894) is fantastic!
Oddly enough, in spite of the non-specific-cosplay nature of the set, I’d have to say this is one of the best on the site. Excellent job- in fact, I shall save many of the pictures for art reference.
ART REFERENCE. Srsly.
Here’s what gets me… who honestly could find this “offensive” seriously, Virginia is an amazing and beautiful model, and a very lovely example of the human form.
If you need any new ideas for cosplay sets, Virginia would be absolutely dope as Ginrei from Giant Robo. She’s definitely got the legs for it. =)
Wow… you’re beautiful!
Angreed- We must be careful. Anyone who sees boobies may very well fly off the handle and into a psychotic furor- blacking out only to awaken in a pile of corpses, burned churches, and ignored homework.
I’m doing better since I’ve had my shots, but just as a precaution I have a friend strap me down to my computer chair whenever I feel the need to hit this site.
Yes, it makes typing difficult.
Well, some folk I know (mostly girls) object to this sort of thing because they think it’s sexist, exploiting girls to make money off of pervy guys.
But, seeing as how this site is run by a girl and doesn’t make any money, there goes that theory! Plus, it wrongly equates all nudity with pornography.
you are a beautiful woman. You know you would look great as Bloodrayne. Just an idea I think you should totally try it.
Virginia is definitely my favorite. Best pictures yet. Well framed, good poses, great work!
aka…. Gauze-play?!?!
So very tempted to delete your comment so i can pretend i came up with that term when the next gauze-play set goes up.
