As promised, new superheroine cosplay pics, part 1 of 2 featuring Kat and Jessica as Bat villainess, and the Joker’s long-suffering girlfriend, Harley Quinn. I’m very happy with how a lot of these turned out, and that goes double for some of the stuff in part 2 (to be put up very soon.) We’re not going to win any prizes for aspergers-esque accuracy to source material details, but i think both Arkham video games have effectively demonstrated that Ms. Quinn tends to benefit from artistic license taken with her costume. Hope you like it, and shit.
I’d mentioned a site-related announcement coming, earlier…unfortunately, not quite ready to go with it yet, but figured i may as well put these up first, rather than wait. Will just say it’s interesting and i’m excited.
More pics post-jump. Looking at them at work may not be safe, but definitely makes you cool.
Finally got the exquisute DC Direct Harley action figure from their Arkham Asylum line. Can’t wait for the Poison Ivy figure coming in the second series, as well as the Arkham City Harley and (i’m assuming) Selina, so i can play out exciting Gotham City Sirens adventures in the hot tub. Don’t judge me.
To-do this summer: Green bodypaint, white facepaint, and a swimming pool. Already working on a niche, pool-centric project inspired by a couple years on hs/uni Water Polo teams; may as well combine it with cosplay and create some kind of dark, swirling nexus of my weirdo fetishes.
Bought that blue corset specifically with Harley in mind…and it just doesn’t quite work with the black/red. Fortunately, there’s a plan B that turned out better, as you’ll see in part 2, and found a character the blue does work for.
Thanks Kat. If you dug any of these, think it’s safe to assume you’ll want to see the thrilling, pants-less conclusion.
