Hey look, it’s dueling Arisia Rrabs in an Oa-inspired spandex showdown. Or at least a bunch of really old pics of Jessica and Virginia dressed up as Green Lanterns. Why? Because i’m going through the backlog of stuff shot for the site that never quite made it up, before some brilliant new pics and videos debut.
Thank you to everyone who’s donated towards improving the site. Massively appreciated, and we’re closer to the $500 goal than i ever actually expected to get (currently around $370.) With a mobile version of the site, i’ll be able to update wherever, and there won’t be these kinds of backlogs, as stuff will go up much more frequently and closer to the actual shoot. Also that will allow for new things i’ve been wanting to do, like trying a live video feed from a shoot, and the app that’s already in progress.
If you haven’t donated, and are so inclined,do hit the donate button near the top right. Once the goal is met, everyone who kicked in anything gets access to a torrent for a file filled with hd images and video from new and recent shoots. And i get to stop talking about it, which would also be nice.

Veidt.com is currently on track for a record high traffic month, across all categories google analytics measures (uniques/visits/pageviews), so thanks for that. The absence of a corresponding spike of hate email and shit-talking on twitter is particularly nice…we’ll see if it lasts.
The first trailer for next summer’s (June 17, 2011), Martin Campbell-directed, live action Green Lantern movie is set to debut in front of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 on November 19, 2010, though it will likely leak online a day or so before then. I have a couple pics on my phone that could blow a big surprise plot point, but sadly can’t do anything with them without getting someone in trouble. So i will just have to forgo internet bragging rights in favor of taking smug self-gratification in what an awesome friend i am.
Have made some updates, changes and additions to the Arisia and Star Sapphire costumes since these pics were taken, look forward to re-shooting these soon. Also, have an all new costume based on a GL-related character i’ve not really seen anyone else attempt, yet, so fingers crossed it works out okay.

Hot girls, with a lot of potential… but the photo work/post processing is a pure comedy.
it seriously looks like you’re taking photos with an iphone or something. you seriously need an SLR or something.
1.) The pics in this particular set are over a year old. This site has definitely been a work in progress, and i’d like to think i’ve improved at least a little.
2.) Yeah, i get it. I actually had a conversation regarding this w/ the poster above you, and it was beneficial. Have my eye on Sony’s NEX-5 (or the NEX-7) with a good lens or two, buying one as soon as i can.
