First things first – you’ll note there’s a “DONATE” button on the top right hand side of the site. I would very much like to have a mobile friendly version of this site built, as i use a droid and it takes forever to load, even on alleged 4G. This will cost a couple hundred, and allow for more frequent and faster updates. Further, i need additional bandwidth to start running HD images and video…especially if i have to host them myself, as free services like youtube and photobucket tend to frown on nudity.
I have no idea if this will work, but for anyone who does actually contribute, you have my gratitude. (Email adresses will not be sold/shared/saved/used for anything nefarious.) I promise to make it worth your while, and not blow it all on shoes. And with that out of the way, here’s the much-requested second of three sets inspired by Poison Ivy in Eidos’ Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Like part 1, i do dig some of these pics, but they definitely could’ve turned out significantly better with an actual photographer. We’ve got that resolved now, and my favorite stuff from this set will be in part 3.

Has it ever been established what Poison Ivy eats? I always assumed she was a cannibal, but on the two occasions i actually wound up asserting this in a conversation, both ended with me being called retarded. I lay out the argument thusly: With her green skin, even if she is photosynthetic, that wouldn’t provide enough energy to run around Gotham fighting superheroes (plants generally aren’t much for strenuous exertion.) She can’t be vegan or vegetarian, as she generally values plant life over animal or human. And given her belief that humans are the oppressors of the green, wouldn’t it make sense for her to kill two birds with one stone, by thinning the herd while seeking sustenance. Just because they never show it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening off-panel…
Whatever, i think it’s a cool idea.

For sustenance, she could rely both photosynthesis and carbon dioxide. Or due her hypersexual (aka nymphomania)it could come sexual juices, which do carry nutrients and vitamins and can be used for nourishment, but this would have to come from Harley, reanimated bodies, someone else who is immune to her poison, or someone extracting the juices and the feeding off of them from a test tube or other container. Or there’s the other mentioned theories.

Nerd o’clock here: Comics have established that Ivy requires sunlight for photosynthesis, as well as breathing in carbon dioxide and exhaling oxygen, due to her years-long connection to The Green. No Man’s Land established that she allows harvesting of plants under her control (she struck a deal with Batman to provide the earthquake-stricken Gotham with fresh produce), so presumably it’s a matter of communing with the plants and allowing them to willingly give up their fruits, rather than having them taken forcefully.
She has been shown to feed people to a giant pitcher plant in Paul Dini’s run on Detective Comics, but she didn’t actually get any nutrition out of the deal herself.
Kyle has pretty much covered it but… she can’t be completely against people eating plants. In Hush, she grows a tree with many fruits for Catwomans breakfast, however, I don’t remember her eating any herself.
