While it lasts, here’s the DC Showcase short Green Arrow from the Superman/Batman: Apocalypse animated film out on blu-ray and dvd today, in its entirety. Really well done…i’ve never been much of an Arrow fan in the comics, but he’s been consistently compelling in adaptations like this, Justice League: Unlimited, and especially Smallville.
Arch-Catholic and second best portrayer of M. Bison, ever, Neil McDonough does an outstanding job voicing the emerald archer alter ego of Ollie Queen, and Malcolm McDowell is his evil inverse, Merlyn the Magnificent. As for the main feature, i liked it. They did a respectable job of adapting Michael Turner’s unique style, and you can’t go too far wrong with Summer Glau as Supergirl.
