David Tennant hates Steven Moffat?

David Tennant leaving Doctor Who

uhh…so now David Tennant is leaving Doctor Who, after filming the four movies that will constitute the abbreviated 5th season.  Only a few weeks ago, the story was the BBC would be throwing vast wads o’ cash to keep Tennant through 2011, but apparently the right figure couldn’t be agreed upon, or maybe there’s something to the Tennant/Moffat tension stories?

Or maybe, as many fans have speculated/hoped,  he’ll be otherwise occupied  in 2o1o, shooting his role as the Riddler in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight follow-up?

David Tennant leaving Doctor Who

Marvel’s The Avengers movie already has a scheduled release date ( July 15, 2011 ), and an executive producer in place, with Jon Favreau. It’s not impossible that pre-production and scheduling are already underway for the potential 2011 release.

David Tennant left because he thought the idea of “Silents will fall” too absurd.
This episode features the end of the silent film era where the Doctor (played by Matt Smith) meets Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin and the time when “talkies” became invented. Donna Noble suggested meeting Charlie Chaplin at the end of “Journeys End” and the Doctor finds himself battling against the “Silent” who absorbs energy from words which might have been said and thus changes the future of the world.
With parts filmed in black and white and characters emerging from old fashioned celluloid films stored in vaults, David Tennant thought it was too absurd for him and therefore gave the nod for Matt Smith to play the role in “The Sound Of Silents” later this year.
