All it takes is an addition, or two, to the cast, and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland becomes the most anticipated film (whose title doesn’t rhyme with Watchmen, Quantum of Solace, or Crank 2) on the horizon.
Crispin Glover (!) will be playing the Knave of Hearts, and Anne Hathaway has been cast as the White Queen. Unfortunately, she probably won’t be dressed as the White Queen, as any sane human would like to see.
Burton kind of reversed course last year, with the excellent Sweeney Todd, his best film since 1996′s Mars Attacks. Hope that trend continues…
