Will there a third film in the Batman Begins series?
If so, will Catwoman be in it?
As the second film, The Dark Knight, won’t be released until July, and -by all accounts- no 3rd script has yet been written, any answer to those two questions is speculative, at best. That said, since March 4th, I’ve heard two different accounts, from two different people, of how the role that may not be in a film that may never happen, is already locked up.
In the first version, Jessica Biel -who already proved she can fill out a latex Catsuit quite nicely, in last Summer’s Chuck & Larry, has spoken to Nolan about it, and holding out for Catwoman was the reason she turned down the Wonder Woman role in George Miller’s JLA movie. Version B claims someone with traction at Warner’s is a big Missy Peregrym fan, and is lobbying hard for her to land the part.
If neither ends up happening, I suppose I can always fall back on the “April fool’s” defense, but honestly, both stories sound convincing, especially who they’re coming from, and I’d be extremely happy if either turned out…or better yet, bring in Ra’s al Ghul’s daughter, Talia, and put them both in the next movie.
If the traditional 3 year gap between films in this series holds, we should know for sure who, if anyone, will be playing Selina Kyle by sometime in 2010, with the movie to be released summer 2011…
Speaking of girls with enviable physiques..this site is currently my favorite time waster…girls can spend hours finding out exactly what stars share their measurements. I continue to be pleasantly surprised at whose clothes I could conceivably steal. Good stuff!
