New set of suprerheroine cosplay images, this time inspired by DC’s ongoing Blackest Night event series, and its upcoming follow-up Brightest Day, scheduled to begin this April. Jessica is once again wearing the costume of Green Lantern Corps girl Arisia Rrab.
With her enourmous cleavage, supra-skimpy spandex costume, and aptitude for unconventional application of Green Lantern powers (she used her ring to de-jailbait herself, and snare alpha Lantern Hal Jordan), I’m kind of depressed Arisia has made it though Blackest Night without being recruited into the sex love-fueled Star Sapphire Corps of Zamaron.

Next month (March 3rd), DC Direct is releasing what i think is the first action figure ever made of Arisia. She’ll be in the 3rd wave of DC D’s Blackest Night series, which will also include a dope, semi-translucent re-release of Hal Jordan’s other girlfriend, Star Sapphire.
Arisia has turned up recently in Cartoon Network’s Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and the Warner Premiere animated movie Green Lantern: First Flight…but still no official word whether or not she’ll be appearing in Martin Campbell’s live-action Green Lantern movie, due June 17, 2011.
I’m holding out hope that she’s actally in it, and ends up getting cast well. Somebody needs to provide the eye candy, and i don’t know that Blake Lively really will…
So why do the Green Lantern costume again? I’ll let the photographer explain in his own words. “The Arisia costume is one of my favorites, and i’d been wanting to reshoot it.”
“Still haven’t captured just how good this looks in person, so expect to see it again at some point. I’m willing to keep trying until it’s done proper justice.”

This is the one that brought me here in the first place. Arisia is one of my favorite Green Lanterns and Jessica is beautiful in any of her photo ops.
