i guess some people liked Transformers…then again some people hate Wes Anderson. And there are some people who think Jessica Alba is prettier than Jessica Biel. The point being, the wrong-headed will always be amongst us, sometimes in overwhelming numbers…
I thought Transformers sucked horribly, but it’s becoming apparent that the upcoming G.I. Joe movie might actually turn out epic and gold. First came the glowing script review from Latino Review. Then the casting of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander and ninth Doctor Christopher Eccleston (!!!) as Desto (!!!!!!!!!) Now, the first shots of Darth Maul / Ray Park in costume as Snake Eyes have been released, and I couldn’t be more ecstatic.
Dunno about the Arashikage tattoo on the outfit, but I guess they have to brand him, somehow. Really hoping for some pics of Doctor Who as Destro, next.
G.I. Joe is scheduled for release in August 2009…which can’t get here soon enough.
