We’re less than 2 weeks away (October 16th) from the release of what looks to be the movie of the year, Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are. If it actually lives up to the astoundingly-fucking-dope trailers, this will easily be on the best of the decade list. If it doesn’t…i guess i can get very chemically-altered, and pretend it’s a Xavier: Renegade Angel live-action adaptation.
In the meantime, the soundtrack by Karen O & the Kids is currently available via DGC/Interscope, and Stereogum has it up, allowing you to stream it in its entirety.It’s excellent stuff, but sadly does not include the version of Arcade Fire’s Wake Up used in the trailers…an omission which borders on criminal.
